Upton-upon-Severn - High Street & Old Street improvement works

Today we will be working on the High Street outside the White Lion Hotel and Backfields Lane junction with Old Street constructing a build out of the pavement.

Traffic management will not be required to carryout this work.

Tomorrow we will be working in the High Street laying the red ashphalt surface course to the footway.

We have been advised that Old Street will be closed this Sunday 3rd March, 2013 but this is for works by another contractor and does not relate to our improvement works.

Today we will be working on the High Street, west side laying the red ashphalt surface to the footway. Drainage and kerbing works will also be taking place on Old Street.

To ease traffic movement today Stop and Go will be used instead of traffic lights at the junction with Church Street and High Street.

Today we are continuing to work on the west side of the High Street into New Street  renewing the kerbs.

Tomorrow we will be working in Church Street excavating and laying the basecourse to the footway.

Today we are working on the west side of the High Street renewing kerbs and excavating the footway.

 

Tomorrow we will be working on the west side of the High Street again excavating the footway and laying the basecourse.

Works will take place on Old Street this Sunday 24th February, within a road closure. This will consist of excavating the existing surface and laying of the basecourse to tarmac.

Today surfacing works took place on Old Street, the works on Court Street have proceeded ahead of schedule therefore the road closure is being removed to minimise any possible disruption.

The works planned for 21st February will consist of renewing kerbs and excavating the footway on High Street.

Works will take place on Old Street this Sunday 24th February, within a road closure. This will consist of excavating the existing surface and laying of the basecourse to tarmac.

Upton-upon-Severn - High Street & Old Street improvement works

Today we will be installing kerbing and concrete drainage channels in Old Street. If this goes to plan this afternoon we will start laying the red ashphalt surface course along New Street.

Court street will be closed today for some drainage works to take place.  As a result of this and to minimise any potential further disruption some patchway works will also be carried out at the same time.
